Edit or delete a will

User can edit or delete a will created by them or a co-signer of their Safe Wallet, as long as the will's status is Live.

Edit a will created with a Safe wallet

  • If the user clicks on Edit will, the system will navigate to Configure will screen where the user can make edits to will's name, beneficiaries, minimum number of signatures required, time to activation, and note to beneficiaries.

    • After the owner edit the will and sign first signature, the will's status will change to Needs finalizing to update until the number of minimum signatures required are met.

Delete a will created with a Safe wallet

  • If the user clicks on Delete will, the system will prompt a popup to confirm the action. After that, a minimum number of signatures from co-signers is required to finalize deleting the will.

Edit a will created with an EOA

  • If the user clicks on Edit will, the system will navigate to Configure will screen where the user can make edits to will's name, beneficiaries, asset allocations, time to activation, note to beneficiaries, and approve or deposit/withdraw tokens.

Delete a will created with an EOA

  • If the user clicks on Delete will, the system will prompt a popup to confirm the action. After that, a minimum number of signatures from co-signers is required to finalize deleting the will.

  • Unlike a will created with a Safe wallet, there is no finalizing needed for editing and deleting a will created with an EOA.
