Premium Features
The following features are available to premium users, offering advanced controls to optionally configure access recovery, along with email reminders and additional management tools.
Premium Subscription
10102 premium packages use a time-bound access model, with payment made upfront, similar to ENS name registrations. Pricing is based on the selected access duration and is recorded on-chain. Users may pay in ETH, USDC, or USDT.
The premium subscription is entirely optional and unlocks access to the advanced features listed below. Free users can still create legacy contracts and timelocks, and designated beneficiaries can claim funds once a contract is activated, regardless of whether the owner has purchased a premium package.
Additional Contingent Beneficiary Layers
To ensure assets are never lost, premium users can configure up to two additional contingent layers of access recovery. These layers activate sequentially only if primary beneficiaries fail to claim or access the assets within a pre-configured time window after the initial trigger. This optional mechanism provides a secure fallback, ensuring assets remain recoverable even if primary beneficiaries are unable to claim the funds with their wallets.
Example of A Multi-Stage Recovery Scheme:
Stage 1: Designated beneficiaries, such as immediate family members
Stage 2: A trusted proxy, such as an estate lawyer, who steps in when beneficiaries cannot claim the funds themselves. They do not inherit the assets personally, but rather act as a professional intermediary to recover assets for the primary beneficiaries.
Stage 3: If family members and trusted professionals can’t recover the assets, a specialized recovery entity can step in to ensure nothing is permanently lost.
This approach guarantees that assets can always be recovered by an authorized party.
Authorized Watchers
Premium users can optionally designate Authorized Watchers for their legacy contracts. Watchers can view assigned contracts under “My Watchlist” in their 10102 dashboard. Watchers are strictly view-only and cannot edit, delete, or alter contracts in any way.
Real-World Use Cases
The Authorized Watcher feature provides transparency and coordination without compromising custody, privacy, or control, supporting a variety of practical scenarios, including:
Consolidated Contract Oversight View and monitor multiple legacy contracts across different wallets in a single, unified dashboard.
Professional Estate Coordination To facilitate coordination between a digital inheritance plan and off-chain estate planning, it is often necessary to reference specific details so that a trust or legal structure can clearly describe the owner’s intent to follow the plan defined by the 10102 Digital Inheritance smart contracts.
In such cases, a specific Ethereum account may be authorized to connect and view limited information about the relevant legacy plans. This allows an estate lawyer or advisor to access the unique account identifier and the list of designated beneficiaries, without exposing the owner’s public wallet addresses.
Email Reminders
With a premium subscription, users can configure email notifications for themselves and all designated beneficiaries. Advanced notice periods can be customized by specifying the number of days prior to each activation event.
