Advanced Features

Additional timeframe layers

The ultimate mission is for the assets to never be lost. For that reason, it could be useful to allow the owner to add a layer of protection, such that if beneficiaries didn’t claim/access the assets within X amount of time after the trigger, then another wave of authorities are granted.

In the case of multisig legacy with Safe, this would be one or multiple accounts to be added as signers.

This can be used for a multiple stages scheme, where for example the first time frame is for designated beneficiaries, the 2nd time frame is for a designated proxy (e.g Estate Law Firm), and 3rd time frame is for another 3rd party recovery specialist. Another example of a scheme would be to go from most secure to least secure over time, but ensuring at least that the assets can be accessed by someone by the end of the flow.

Remind Me Notifications

Premium Only

By the default with the premium subscription, the app sends a notification 30 days in advance and then 7 days.

The owner will be able to to configure an notification through email for beneficiaries Beneficiary notifications.

The notifications will be sent to the beneficiary's wallet when the fund is ready to be activated, and X amount of time before the second line trigger (if there is second timeframe).

Same logic applies to second timeframe beneficiaries if there is a third timeframe.

The notifications can also be received through their emails if configured by owner.

Private identity for third parties

When (optionally) drafting legal paperwork tied to the legacy implemented in the app, one needs to provide a minimum of specifics so that the trust (or legal structure) can describe (or prove in suing case) that the intention of the owner is to follow the plan specified by the smart contracts of the 10102 Digital Inheritance - e.g which plan?

Due to the risk of exposing the public addresses in non-secured physical locations in addition to 3rd party systems, an explicit description of the plan is not an option. That’s where privacy preserving function comes in.
